The Shields Family is pleased to invite all Shields Health employees and their immediate family to a fun-filled summer outing at Canobie Lake Park. Please join our family as we gather for a summer barbecue luncheon at the park.

Attendees & Invitees

The Shields family is happy to provide our employees the opportunity to gather together with their families in a social, fun atmosphere. Every Shields employee is invited to bring their children (under 18) and one adult guest. If you are single (no spouse/children) we invite you to bring one guest. Children age 3 years and under are FREE and do not need an Outing Pass or Catering Sticker. If you would like to bring additional adults or children, you may purchase a ticket for the park and lunch at the special Shields rate of $72 per person. Please indicate how many extra tickets you will be purchasing on the RSVP form below. We must receive  payment for the extra tickets by June 28. If we do not receive payment by June 28, we will not be able to provide lunch or park entry through Shields. Checks can be payable  to Shields Health. General admission the day of the event is $57.00 and does not include lunch.

We will be unable to accommodate RSVPs and ticket requests received after June 28.  So please plan accordingly.

Gas & Parking

All employees are responsible for their own transportation and will not be reimbursed for gas or mileage. This is an optional event and attendance is not required. General parking is FREE and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ticket Information

All employees are responsible for their tickets on the day of the event. All tickets will be physical tickets that are sent you beforehand. Your all-in-one ticket, include admission to the Park, all rides, and scheduled shows. Castaway Island is also included. These convenient barcoded passes are valid only on the date of our outing. Remember, all outing passes MUST be distributed in advance of the outing. We won't be able to distribute passes on the day of the outing, so let's make sure everyone is prepared.

Shields will be purchasing the tickets to attend Canobie Lake Park.

Forgotten or lost tickets: All employees are responsible for their tickets on the day of the event. If you do not have your tickets, you will not be able to attend as a Shields guest.

Food & Beverage

Please be advised that no food, beverage, coolers, or picnic equipment of any kind will be permitted at the Park. Exceptions are made for baby formula, allergies, and medication.

Shields will be providing a
Good Ol' Summertime Picnic from
12:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m.

Each attendee MUST affix a catering sticker to his/her shirt before entering the catering area.  No stickers will be given onsite and no entry will be given if you do not have the sticker.

Dress Code

This is a fun, casual event and attendees can dress as such. There is a water park that will be open, weather permitting, and you may want to bring a change of clothes or bathing suit. Employees are encouraged to wear clothes that show our spirit for Shields!

Employees Scheduled to Work on
Sunday, August 11

All Shields offices will be open during normal business hours on Sunday, August 11.  If you are scheduled to work and would like to attend the summer outing, please work directly with your manager to find coverage. Those employees that work the day of the outing will be offered two complimentary tickets for a future date at Canobie Lake, upon request. Please contact Lauren Quimby at lauren@shields.com to obtain these tickets, which will be mailed to you the week after the August 11 event. Before the tickets are mailed to employees who are working the day of the event it will be confirmed that they worked August 11.
