Shields Rewards

WOWs on Shields Rewards

In 1999 an anonymous Shields Health employee initiated the WOW program as a way to recognize fellow colleagues for a job well done. Throughout the years, hundreds of employees have been awarded WOWs’ for their outstanding patient care, excellent customer service, exceptional helpfulness with a coworker, or going above and beyond in their job duties.

Sending a WOW is a great way to show appreciation to a specific department, a manager, an employee – anyone who deserves special recognition for a job well done.

The only requirement to send a WOW is to provide specific details regarding the action that you would like recognized so it can be included in the certificate to the employee.

Shields Health is proud of this program and the shining stars that make this organization a success!

Company Store

eGift Cards

You can choose to redeem your Shields Rewards points for a Virtual Prepaid Card (Visa) or one of hundreds of eGift Cards that will be emailed to you as soon as you redeem for shopping immediately!

Employee of the Year Awards

A Shields family tradition, these awards recognize team members who have gone above and beyond during the past year. Each reflects one of our five company values: Kindness, Excellence, Innovation, Character and Growth. Employee of the Year award recipients consistently demonstrate a commitment to patient care and a dedication to their teammates and the company as a whole.

These awards are presented at the Company Meeting (on odd years) or the annual Leadership Meeting.
